I was back recently to photograph Spradling International Marine annual expo at IBEX, the International Boat Bulders Exhibition and Conference held at the Tampa Convention Center. For the 3rd year, they were looking for photo coverage of their cocktail reception at Marriott Water Street and a few quick photographs of their booth at the expo. It was an easy walk from one to the other as the Tampa Convention Center and the Marriott Hotel are literally next door to each other.
This year they had a live caricature artists doing digital prints of the attendees – this was a big hit. They also brought in a backdrop and step and repeat so the guests could have a place to get a photograph. The theme this year was Space and it played nicely with their event. It was nice working with same team and seeing the familiar faces again.
The evening was great for all of the attendees from Spradling and their vendors and friends and the Florida weather was great. It was a great event to cover and I already been booked for 2020.
