CASINO NIGHT FOR CHARITY – St. Pete Yacht Club!
Community Law Program once again held their annual event at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. For the second year, Community Law Program had their annual dinner and Jackpot for Justice a Casino Night themed party to raise much needed money for their non-profit. Capturing this type of event photography is always fun and there is always a lot of photo ops and smiles.
The money was all fake of course (which helps when its not a $2,000 hand you just lost) but the emotions were real! Everything from craps tables, roulette, Texas Hold’em, and blackjack, were all there! Each player was given $5,000 in chips as they arrived at the event but some had to re-up which raised more money for charity. The casino tables were once again provided by the fabulous crew at DanMar Productions – their dealers did a spectacular job. This year event was lively and included Judges and attorneys members from the St. Petersburg Bar Association. Charlie Crist also was there and he was a crowd favorite!
The Casino Night theme was a fun evening and the attendees stayed until closing raising money for charity. There were several raffle items, from artwork, to a gift basket full of restaurant gift cards. The way you got a raffle ticket was to trade in chips for each ticket. So of course, the incentive was to win more chips to get more entries in the drawings.
