Shortly before sunset, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the sky, a magical moment unfolded that would be etched in the hearts of two souls forever. A breathtaking scene of a surprise marriage proposal against the backdrop of a mesmerizing Florida sunset.
The chosen location for this romantic proposal was Sand Key Beach, just a few miles away from Clearwater Beach. This is one of my favorite locations for a proposal as the Jetty allows for some background imagery. It’s also much more relaxed than Clearwater Beach hotel district as it was more secluded, and they could enjoy private moments. One of my favorite moments when photographing these is when I am spotted. I hide and blend in very well! I also love capturing the moments right after the proposal – it’s often sealed with a kiss!
