Tampa Fashion Funds the Cure – National Pediatric Cancer Foundation

I had a great time at National Pediatric Cancer Foundation 14th Annual Tampa Fashion Funds the Cure which was hosted at Port Tamp. As a Pediatric Cancer Survivor myself this event has special meaning to me. Just like my prior work of American Cancer Society Relay for Life and Children’s Cancer Center, this event brings back those memories I had as I was fighting cancer at All Children’s Hospital.

This year’s Tampa Fashion Funds the Cure raised over $500,000 to help the fight against childhood cancer. This event is special as it gives those fighting cancer, in remission, or cured the opportunity to walk the stage and strut their stuff! The show also features pro models wearing fashion from Dillards. Over 50 children, and some turned young adults walked the stage featuring both 14 Featured and over 40 Alumni Models. The Featured Models 1st walk the stage with a pro model escort, they also come back out with a model from their aspiring profession. One featured model inspires to be a professional football player. This model came out with Tampa Bay Buccaneers Gerald McCoy. What a special evening! Check out the selection of photos.
