Tampa Bay is home to hundreds of photographers. When we first started, there were maybe 50 professional photographers working across the region. Today, there are well over 200. It’s a competitive space—but we’ve carved out a niche, especially when it comes to beach sessions.

My most in-demand service is beach photography, with sessions primarily on St. Pete Beach, Clearwater Beach, and Indian Shores/Redington Beach. While we offer a variety of photography services, these beach sessions are the heart of my business.

Photography trends come and go. Right now, natural light, “light and bright,” and “dark and moody” styles are everywhere. Many photographers describe their work as “documentary-style,” though most of those sessions are still carefully posed and directed to appear candid.

Yes, we use natural light—but we are not limited to it. We bring our own lighting to sessions, giving us more control and allowing for richer, more detailed images. Unlike the blown-out white skies you often see in beach photography, with digitally altered skys, we aim for vivid, colorful skies and clear detail—not dark silhouettes. We want your family’s faces to be lit beautifully and the entire scene to look vibrant. Where others might rely only on post-editing or push their equipment to the limits, we strive for clean, high-quality images with minimal noise and crisp detail, even when zoomed in.

We also pride ourselves and ENJOY capturing diversity of skin tone, age, and —something that’s often overlooked by other beach photographers. With the right lighting and editing techniques, we ensure every shade is represented with care, warmth, and clarity. Your family deserves portraits where everyone looks their absolute best.

Our Style: A Blend of Traditional and Natural

While many lean heavily into the “run-around-and-see-what-we-capture” method, we prefer a balance. We take a more traditional approach when it comes to posing. We want to see faces—happy, smiling, and full of life—not just the backs of heads. Of course, we let kids be kids—We’ll often tell them to run around and have fun. But we will guide the session so we don’t just capture moments, we capture memories.

(And yes, We are honest—Clearwater Beach on a weekend can be a bit hectic if you’re aiming for a peaceful session and we often don’t recommend!
