It was a pleasure photographing the Henson family last week at Indian Rocks Beach. This young family was on vacation from Tennessee and was staying a short drive north on Gulf Blvd at Clearwater Beach. The father was actually on a business trip and decided to bring the family along for a mini vacation. As it was summer, and a stay on the beach, I’m sure it was an easy decision to make.
Since the family was down here, they thought it would be a great time to get some sunset family photography beach portraits. When I got the call from them, I thought Indian Rocks Beach would be an ideal backdrop for their beach portraits since sometimes Clearwater Beach can get crowded.
In the photo above I used the sand dunes as the backdrop instead of the ocean.
This photo below was actually more difficult to capture than I thought since because the boys wanted to look at mom and dad and not at me. I finally got the photo.
