With all of my photography I always try to make something different. In this shoot in Tampa, Florida at Curtis Hixon Park, I did just that.
Curtis Hixon Park is located in downtown Tampa with the skyline a key element on one side, and University of Tampa and the Hillsborough River on the other. These two architectural elements make create some striking dramatic images.
The building below on the far right is often referred to as the “beer can building.” I love the characteristics of the building with the cylindrical shape that was meant to symbolize a lighthouse and represent optimism when built in 1988. On ground level is home to Florida Museum of Photographic Arts which is a cool place to visit even for the non photographer.
In this photo above, the use of the Tampa Skyline really help create a dramatic image.
